What if you could spend a week designed to help you feel more balanced, rested, and steady through a natural life transition, with space to slow down and reconnect?

A restorative retreat focused on menopause wellbeing, helping to improve energy, sleep, mood and long-term vitality through gentle daily practices and supportive routines. The experience blends movement, breath awareness, mindfulness and practical self-care tools, creating space for rest, recovery and reconnection.

Set in the mountains of northern Portugal within the Peneda-Gerês region, the journey unfolds in a quiet valley surrounded by forests and nature trails, with a small restored stone village as the base. Guests move between forest paths, open landscapes and a peaceful river setting, with time to slow down, pause and simply be.

The week is guided through daily menopause-focused yoga, breathwork and meditation, supported by yin and restorative evening practices. Mindful walks, creative and practical workshops such as face yoga, pelvic floor work, nutrition and Zen-inspired art, as well as shared cooking sessions and unhurried free time, shape a gentle rhythm of care and presence throughout the stay.

I am a retreat host, yoga teacher and nature guide based in the mountains of Peneda-Gerês National Park, in northern Portugal. My work is rooted in a deep love for nature, movement, simple living and meaningful human connection.

Before creating this project, I worked as an environmental journalist in Lisbon. Everything changed when I came to Peneda-Gerês to make a documentary about the Iberian wolf. After years of movement and noise, I felt the need to slow down and reconnect with simpler rhythms — walking, breathing, listening and spending more time outdoors.

This project grew from this personal transformation. Today, I create and host small-group retreats that combine yoga, hiking, mindful walking, horse connection, running-focused movement, restorative practices and nourishing vegetarian food. I also create retreats focused on women’s well-being, offering supportive spaces for rest, balance and reconnection during different stages of life, including menopause.

My approach is calm, personal and grounded.
